Tough choice...one for all, but not entirely impossible. I try often to stick to the one meal for all of us, & thankfully am not doing too badly. The kids know I'm pretty firm when it comes to veggies, & that I mean business. I think a diet gradually grows on you, if there are no allergy/dietary restrictions etc. Have to say though that blogging has thrown up many new & fabulously edible options! Thanks for a wonderful post, & thanks to you Twitter friends. BTW, I still can't figure how to work Twitter (DUH?...hmmmm)

Have a great day!Deeba PABhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05527333008494519621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22910471.post-80279798541835331402009-01-13T20:22:00.000+01:002009-01-13T20:22:00.000+01:00I can totally relate to what you said about everyo...I can totally relate to what you said about everyone eating the same thing while growing up. It was the same at my place, and still is. But one does indeed require a lot of support when you have a specific diet plan in mind.

As for me, my better half does not believe in dieting while I do. He insists on hitting gym and if I insists on cutting out some food, he wants to do the same which I feel guilty about. He does not believe in we both eating different thing. It is excellent indeed, you might say - but for me, I feel sad to put him through something which he does not deserve. :) :) conflicting minds though!

But I am starting to like SBD! I have fellow blogger friend who is in process of following the diet and she looks like a million dollars now :)

Great article and all the best with SBD :)DKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15021550684332450332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22910471.post-78947610469450880992009-01-13T11:30:00.000+01:002009-01-13T11:30:00.000+01:00Andrea, welcome (from one newbie to another). Andrea (first a huge welcome to the Daily Tiffin!!

Second - Tom and I are currently in week 2 of Phase 1 of the SBD and we find that as the diet is quite healthy Soeren is also getting the same foods we are cooking and enjoying. However, he will get his portion of whole grain bread, whole wheat pastas, fruit etc. He is a bit of a tease and knows my weakness is the fruit so he will whisper "one grape is OK, mum!!"
But on the whole we are getting along well with the slight changes.
This weekend we will be entertaining and I have mostly prepared SBD friendly meals - again with the addition of potatoes etc. for our guests. Tom and I will stay away from that.

This is a great article Andrea and for sure extremely helpful! Thanks!Meeta K.
